Hardware: All of the hardware, including the spikes, o rings, d rings, rivets, and buckle, are powder coated Steel alloy. There is no resin or plastic on this piece. The largest spikes are about an inch tall, and the largest center o ring is 2 inches wide(inner diameter).
Sizing: 12-16in with a snug-ish fit, or 11-15 for a looser fit.
For me personally, the silicone strap makes these collars much easier to wear snugly than biothane or leather, and don't cause the sameĀ sensory issues that those materials do.
**the back screws that rest against your skin are not powder coated, so folx with metal allergies need to be aware of that. We use stainless steel screws in an effort to minimize allergic reactions but there is likely still some nickel present. I have been told by a few customers that a coating of clear nail polish over the screws does the trick, but I cannot guaranteeĀ that the screw-backs won't cause a reaction in those withĀ material sensitivities/allergies**
