Gutterscotch collars are A LOT of work. A 10 collar drop takes an average of 95 hours to make. This isn't even including admin, social media work, packing and shipping, or anything else we do.
My point is, we're limited to a small batch size. This means you need to be quick!
If you try for a collar and didn't get one, please comment on the release post on Instagram and turn on restock notifications on the product page (click where it says NOTIFY ME) so I know the demand is there to make another batch! If a design gets low engagement I will not remake it!

Meet Levi (they/them)! They're my right-hand in the studio and an artist in their own right. They step in when I need them from everything from powder coating to packing. I’m very lucky to have them on my team!
When they're not helping me keep orders moving, they're busy making their own hand-painted patches, ceramics, oddities, and all kinds of spooky little things. If you're a fan of Gutterscotch you'll probably also love what Levi makes!

For our "signature" designs (anything with lots of colors, stripes, etc) you'll need to set an alarm for a few minutes BEFORE the posted drop time. Give yourself enough time to stop what you're doing and go to the ✨IN STOCK COLLARS✨ page of my website. Then RIGHT as the clock turns over to the drop time, refresh the page. Keep refreshing until the collar you want appears. Click the collar, add your size to your cart (figure out what size you need beforehand!) and checkout as fast as possible. Shopify direct checkout is fastest.
Anything that sells out in 10 minutes or less is automatically on our list for another batch.
If you look at one of our IG posts and say to yourself "damn that's a lot of views," it likely hit that target and will be remade at some point.

Jupiter | Owner, Designer, Lead Production
Hi! I'm Jupiter (they/she). I'm the owner and main artist/maker behind Gutterscotch. I've been making spiked collars since high school (2005 ish?) with nail polish coated spikes and cut up belts, but became serious in improving my methods/materials in 2013.
Until March 2025, the "we" in Gutterscotch was just *me* doing everything solo. But I've still got my hands on every collar, harness, paddle, or whatever else I feel like making. I also do all of the graphics, the website, like.....everything. I get hella dopamine from designing things so I put a lot of time into everything in front of me.
I tend to make things that are nostalgic (obviously?), but pull a ton of inspiration from Japanese Harajuku street fashion, most notably Uchuu Kei, Cyberpop, & Kidcore. My inspo folders are full of random objects I like the colors of, cakes, old cartoons, toys, and sci-fi.
