Our collars sell out fast. Like REALLY fast.
We've switched to a pre-order model! This allows us to take MANY more orders than our previous method. The wait is longer, but anyone who orders within the window will be able to get one; no more fighting over collars before they sell out!
I wasn't able to get one within the pre-order window!
Will you ever remake the design I wanted?

Anything that sells 20 or more is automatically on our list for another batch.
If you look at one of our IG posts and say to yourself "damn that's a lot of likes," it likely hit that target and will be restocked. Take advantage of Restock Notifications on the product's page!
You can comment restock requests on the pinned Requests post on my Instagram!

Jupiter | Owner, Designer, Lead Production
Hi! I'm Jupiter (they/she). I'm the owner and main artist/maker behind Gutterscotch. I've been making spiked collars since high school (2005 ish?) with nail polish coated spikes and cut up belts, but became serious in improving my methods/materials in 2013.
Until March 2025, the "we" in Gutterscotch was just *me* doing everything solo. But I've still got my hands on every collar, harness, paddle, or whatever else I feel like making. I also do all of the graphics, the website, like.....everything. I get hella dopamine from designing things so I put a lot of time into everything in front of me.
I tend to make things that are nostalgic (obviously?), but pull a ton of inspiration from Japanese Harajuku street fashion, most notably Uchuu Kei, Cyberpop, & Kidcore. My inspo folders are full of random objects I like the colors of, cakes, old cartoons, toys, and sci-fi.

What are your collars made of?
Are they latex and nickel free?
Our collar straps are made from platinum cure silicone, polyurethane rubber, & Biothane.
They are always latex free.
Our hardware is a mix of steel alloy or aluminum, and occasional epoxy. Unfortunately there is no way for us to ensure that these materials are nickel free. Most of our visible hardware is powder coated, however the screws and rivets that rest against skin are NOT powder coated.
Are your collars safe for BDSM?
Our Biothane straps are play and tug safe, but we recommend light play with silicone and Polyurethane strapped collars, especially those with glitter or embeds of any kind in the strap. For heavy use and hard tugging, Biothane is best!
Do you do collabs/trades?
Yes and no. We do occasionally participate in artistic or coordinated-drop collabs with other shops and/or artists, but we do not offer free products in exchange for modelling, promotion, or review.

How fast do you ship?
"Always Available" items ship within 6-8 weeks.
Pre-Order Items: The total lead-time for pre-orders is the ordering window plus production time of 3-4 weeks. We base Pre-Order Windows on an items popularity, and keep them up anywhere from 1-4 weeks (if an item is not getting very many order we will pull it within a week or so and start production; If it's getting a lot of orders we may keep it up the full 4 weeks). This means the total lead-time could be anywhere from 3-12 weeks. We will email you once the ordering window has closed and production has started with an updated shipping estimate. If you need a change of address etc you can let me know when we send this production email.
Pre-made items that ship sooner are occasionally available, and will have their fulfillment times in their descriptions.

How do I cancel my order?
All sales are final. Once an order is placed, we buy materials and schedule help, and that labor and supplies are paid for. We are a very small business where not a penny can be wasted, so order cancellations or chargebacks mean we aren't paid for the labor and supplies we've already used.
Do you accept returns?
No. We only offer exchanges on defective items or parts.
How can I get replacement parts?
All replacement parts are free of charge for 1 year after initial purchase. After this period, they are available at “cost” including labor and shipping.
Contact us at gutterscotch@gmail.com with your order number, the part(s) needed, and your current shipping address. If you need a replacement for a broken part (strap etc) please include details of how the item broke, and how many times/how often the collar has been worn, as it helps us better understand our products’ real-world durability and any issues that need addressing.
Handmade parts (straps, powder coated hardware, resin parts etc.) can take up to 6 weeks to ship out. Un-powder coated hardware, screws, and other “off the shelf” parts typically ship within 3-7 business days, assuming we still have them in stock.

Levi | Production Assistant
Meet Levi (they/them)! They're my right-hand in the studio and an artist in their own right. They do everything right alongside me from powder coating to packing. I’m very lucky to have them on my team!
When they're not helping me keep orders moving, they're busy making their own hand-painted patches, ceramics, oddities, and all kinds of spooky little things. If you're a fan of Gutterscotch you'll probably also love what Levi makes!
